GENERAL MANAGER SEARCH  
Handy Sanitary District, a growing water and sewer district with an overall customer base of 3,100 in southern Davidson, Randolph and Montgomery Counties of N.C., is seeking a General Manager.  Handy is governed by a five-member Board of Directors, elected in staggered terms. The successful candidate will preferably hold a degree in engineering or management with some business/accounting background, experience in managing and/or a working knowledge of water and sewer systems. Should be detail oriented with skills in public relations, problem solving, and communications.  Successful candidate will have responsibility for overall operations of the District, which includes a staff of 4 office and 6 field personnel.  Salary commensurate with skills and abilities.
