Fees Schedule  

RATE SCHEDULE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2011 AS FOLLOWS:

WATER RATES:

0-2,000 gallons - $21.00 minimum
2,001-over - $6.00 per thousand gallons

 How to use the water rate schedule:
A minimum monthly bill is $21.00 and includes up to 2,000 gallons.  For each additional thousand gallons used over 2,000, the rate is $6.00 per 1,000 gallons.

Example:
If you used 5,000 gallons of water you would multiply 3,000 gallons used by .006 ($6.00 per thousand gallons) and add $21.00 for the first 2,000 gallons used.  Then add the two figures together for your monthly water bill, in this case the total being $39.00.

SEWER RATES

$30.00 no usage minimum                     $5.00/thousand gallons

 How to use the sewer rate schedule:
A minimum monthly bill is $30.00 for no usage.  For each thousand gallons the rate is $5.00 per 1,000 gallons.  
Example:
 If you used 5,000 gallons of water you would multiply 5,000 gallons used by .005 ($5.00 per thousand gallons) and then add the $30.00 minimum.  The total in this case being $50.00.  

WATER TAP FEES

¾ inch tap fee - $900.00
1 inch tap fee - $1,800.00
2 inch tap fee - $3,200.00

SEWER TAP FEES:

Sewer Tap Fee - $1,050.00
Sewer Pumps - customers purchase through District from
Covalene (cost depends on tank size)

SERVICE CHARGES

Reconnection Fee - $65.00
Meter Tampering Fee - $250.00
Return Check Fee - 25.00
Late Fee - $15.00

OTHER FEES

Membership Fee - $25.00
Renter’s Deposit - $150.00
Homeowner’s Deposit - $100.00

NEW HYDRANTS

Installation Fee - $2,700.00

HYDRANT METERS

Deposit - Members - no fee                                                                     
Non-members - $500.00 (refundable)  
Installation fee Members - $25.00 (non-refundable)
Installation fee Non-members - $50.00 (non-refundable)

Weekly Usage Charges                       0-2,000 gallons - $25.00 minimum                                                          2,000-over - $6.00/thousand gallons

   *Before service will be turned on, DEPOSITS, MEMBERSHIP FEES, TAP FEES, RECONNECTION FEES, RETURNED CHECK FEES and DELINQUENT BALANCES must be paid in full for each account.
